Mitchell L. Payes is a registered professional industrial hygienist (RPIH) who has practiced comprehensive industrial hygiene for over 27 years. Early in his career, and as Chief of Industrial Hygiene, Mr. Payes directed and managed a department of industrial hygienists and technicians in a company with over 5000 employees. He started his comprehensive industrial hygiene practice in 1988 while at the same time coordinating industrial hygiene activities at one of Arizona's largest hospitals. While at this hospital, Mr. Payes performed original research in the areas of surgical laser bioaerosols and occupational exposure to drug aerosols during patient administration.
